JOB DESCRIPTION - CHARITY CHAIRMAN

1. Coordinate all Unit -, District -, and ACBL - wide charity games and functions. Secure items to be raffled and/or determine a plan or function to raise funds.

2. Arrange for directors and work with Duplicate Diary Editor / Special Games Chairman for these games. The director whose game is preempted by any ACBL District charity game should be given first opportunity to direct for the LBA.

3. Work with Secretary to ensure proper sanction application is submitted. Materials will be given to you by the President (who is automatically the club manager; the unit owned franchise). These events are always conducted under the unit-owned franchise, The Louisville Bridge Center, Sanction #195818.

4. Prepare an annual report concerning LBA charitable activities, including downstate activity, which will be included in the Kibitzer.

5. Any sanction requirement will be handled by the LBA secretary.

6. All monies collected from these games should be turned over to LBA Treasurer with a financial report. LBA Treasurer will pay director for running game.
