Minutes of the 2009 Annual Membership Meeting, November 17, 2009

Held at the Louisville Bridge Center

A quorum of members of the Louisville Bridge Association was present, including the following:

Board members and officers attending:

Jean Donoho, Kit Overpeck, Vangie Smith, Joe Dye, Hannah Davis, Frank Nelson, Ted Flach, Rex Swauger, Susan Cox, Diane Huguenard, Sandy Spears and Ellen Schmidt.

Board members and officers absent:

Betsy Blakeman, Jane Wininger, and JoEllen Amrine,

The annual Meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Jean Donoho.

Jean Donoho announced the results of the election: Rex Swauger, President; Bob Phelps, Vice President; Frank Nelson, Treasurer; Joan Lepping, Secretary; Diane Huguenard, Historian. The Directors for the next two year period are: Carolyn Carpenter, Hannah Davis, Jan Fishback, David Fleischaker and Betsy Blakeman. Elected to finish the one year term of Rex Swauger and Diane Huguenard are Madeline Pfeiffer and Ellen Schmidt.

Jean congratulated the following new life masters Diane and Jim Huguenard, and presented them with their LBA mugs. New life masters not in attendance are Bill Toutant, Nancy Anderson, Pat Walker and Anne Pepper. They will receive their mugs at the February Sectional.

Jean thanked Karen Clear, Betty Paterson, Vangie Smith and Kit Overpeck for their work in tallying votes for the 2009 board.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:05.
